Establishing supportive mechanisms at the institutional level is essential for maintaining high-quality patient outcomes and promoting the well-being of nurses in coping with these difficulties.

• Predictive value of blood gas parameters and hematologic indices on survival in critically ill sepsis patients January 13, 2026
  CONCLUSIONS: Low pH and high lactate levels were the strongest predictors of mortality in sepsis patients, highlighting the prognostic value of simple blood gas parameters, especially where advanced diagnostics are limited. Hematological indices showed no significant association with mortality. pH and lactate should be prioritized in clinical decision-making for sepsis patients.

  CONCLUSIONS: The study findings indicate that alarm fatigue among nurses in cardiac intensive care units is multidimensional, involving nurses, patients, institutions, and other stakeholders.
