Prof. Fatma SARICAOĞLU

Prof. Dr. Fatma Sarıcaoğlu is a Professor of Anaesthesiology and Reanimation at Hacettepe University, Ankara, Türkiye. She graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1993 and completed her specialist training at Hacettepe University between 1994 and 1999. She became a Professor in 2011 and qualified as a Pain Medicine subspecialist in 2012. Her main clinical and academic interests include regional anaesthesia, acute and chronic pain management, paediatric anaesthesia and perioperative care. She has held senior positions in several national and European professional organisations, including the Turkish Regional Anaesthesia Society, ARUD, TARD and the European Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Therapy. She is an Honorary Member of the Balkan Anesthesia Platform.
