Prof Dr Marijana KARIŜIK

Assist. Prof. Marijana Karišik is a specialist in Anaesthesiology, Reanimation and Intensive Care at the Institute for Children’s Diseases, Clinical Centre of Montenegro, and a faculty member at the University of Montenegro Faculty of Medicine in Podgorica. She completed her medical degree in 1997, specialist training in 2008 and doctoral degree in 2021. Her principal clinical and academic interests include paediatric and neonatal anaesthesia, paediatric intensive care, difficult airway management, resuscitation and patient safety. She is the founder and President of the Montenegrin Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care and currently serves as a Board Member of the Balkan Anesthesia Platform, actively promoting education and professional collaboration throughout the region.
