Prof Dr Jasmina SMAJIC

Prof. Dr. Jasmina Smajić is a specialist in Anaesthesiology and Reanimation and a subspecialist in Intensive Care Medicine at the University Clinical Centre Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She is a Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Tuzla, and serves as Head of the Clinic for Anaesthesiology and Reanimation. Her principal clinical and academic interests include intensive care medicine, pain medicine, depth of anaesthesia, perioperative coagulation and inflammation, infection control and transplantation medicine. She is also President of the Association of Anesthesiologists and Reanimatologists of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2026, she was elected President of the Balkan Anesthesia Platform, leading its regional educational and professional collaboration initiatives.
