Prof. Andrijan KARTALOV

Prof. Dr. Andrijan Kartalov is a Professor of Anaesthesiology and Reanimation at the Faculty of Medicine, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, North Macedonia. He works at the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, University Clinical Hospital “Mother Teresa.” His academic and clinical interests include anaesthesiology, intensive care medicine, regional anaesthesia, perioperative care, postoperative pain management and difficult airway management. He is also a Deputy Editor of the Macedonian Journal of Anaesthesia. medf.ukim.edu.mk

Prof. Kartalov previously served as President of the Macedonian Society of Anaesthesia and currently contributes to regional scientific cooperation and medical education. He was appointed an Honorary Member and Advisory Board member of the Balkan Anesthesia Platform in 2026.
